Director: Brendon Culliton

Producer(s): Paul Culliton

Cast: Marc Diab

Synopsis:  Award winning, internationally recognized film that speaks to the darkest fear of a parent.  The death of a child in war.

Driven by premonition of death before deploying to Afghanistan, Lebanese born, Canadian soldier, Trooper Marc Diab makes a video to be played at his funeral in case “he should fall”.  Killed by an IED 3 weeks before returning home to propose to  childhood sweetheart, the video “See You Tomorrow” is played at his funeral to deliver a message of comfort from beyond the grave.

A film of the “You-tube” generation of soldiers at war, IISF crosses the boundaries of all nations to define the tragedy of war through the loss of an immigrant Lebanese families only son.  Including rare personal camcorder footage and photos shot by Trooper Diab to tell the story of what loss in war really means.

IISF goes intimately beyond the 6 o’clock news into places the camera rarely goes.  The moment of death of a soldier.  The darkest hour of the family when news reaches home.  On the shoulder of comrades who carried their friend on the long last walk home.  Anyone who has ever lost a loved one to war will identify deeply with “If I Should Fall”.
